With the Salespeak Company Context plugin, the Cursor agent checks facts about your company against what your company has recorded in Salespeak before it writes them into an email, page or RFP answer. When your sources disagree, it shows both versions and waits for you. How it works, the tools and the data it sees are on the Company Context page.

Set up
-
Copy the plugin into Cursor’s local plugins folder:
git clone https://github.com/salespeak-ai/company-context-plugin.git ~/.cursor/plugins/local/salespeak-company-context - In Cursor, run Developer: Reload Window from the command palette, or restart Cursor.
- Ask the agent a question about your company. It opens a Salespeak sign-in; sign in with your Salespeak account.
The plugin holds two things: the remote MCP server https://platform.salespeak.ai/company/mcp and the
company-context skill. Source and license (MIT):
salespeak-ai/company-context-plugin.
What the skill tells the agent
- Use it before stating any fact about your own company, and when writing emails, proposals, RFP answers or pages that contain one.
- Call
ask_company_contextfirst, with one plain question per call. - With a recorded answer, use it, and keep the records next to the claim.
- When sources disagree, say so briefly, show the versions, and wait for you to choose before writing. Never pick a version itself.
- With no recorded answer, say so, and do not fill the gap from general knowledge or the web.
- If your knowledge was never checked for conflicts, say so once and point to where an admin runs the check.
- Call
flag_knowledge_conflictonly when you ask it to.
First question to try
Ask the agent:
What do we say about SSO? A good answer quotes what your knowledge records and lists the records it came from. If your sources disagree, the agent lists both versions and asks which to use. If your company has no recorded answer, it says so.
Requirements
- A Salespeak account at your company.
- Cursor with plugin support.
Permissions
The server reads your company’s knowledge in Salespeak and can store a conflict flag for your admins. It receives the question the agent asks on your behalf, not your code or conversation. Details: Permissions and data and the privacy policy.
Disconnect
- To pause it, turn off the salespeak-company-context server in Customize. Disabled servers do not load or appear in chat.
-
To remove it, delete the
~/.cursor/plugins/local/salespeak-company-contextfolder and reload the window.
Your company knowledge does not change, and flags you sent stay for your admins.
FAQ
Do I need an API key or an environment variable?
No. On first use the agent opens a Salespeak sign-in. Sign in with your Salespeak account.
Can I add only the MCP server, without the skill?
Yes. Add a remote MCP server with the URL https://platform.salespeak.ai/company/mcp in Cursor’s MCP settings. Without the skill, the agent decides on its own when to call it.
Can the agent change our company knowledge?
No. It can read your knowledge and flag a conflict for your admins. The skill tells it to flag only when you ask. A flag changes no answer.
Does it work in Grok Bot too?
Grok Bot supports the same plugins and MCP servers as Cursor. See the Grok Bot page for the steps.
